About The Position
The Pet Emporium, located at 2394 E. Stadium Blvd. in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is seeking a friendly and pet-loving customer service associate to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are attentive, motivated, and engaged in providing excellent customer service. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a flexible schedule that includes available shifts throughout the week. Weekend availability is necessary as we aim to provide our customers with the best service possible during peak shopping times. As a customer service associate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. This includes greeting customers as they enter the store, answering any questions they may have, and ensuring that they feel at home while shopping. Maintaining a clean and tidy work area is essential, as it reflects our commitment to providing a pleasant shopping experience. Additionally, you will be involved in processing new inventory and counting current stock, which is crucial for keeping our shelves well-stocked and organized. We are looking for candidates who possess a friendly attitude when interacting with guests and co-workers. A responsible individual with a proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments is essential. The ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively is also important, as you will be addressing any concerns customers may have. Good communication skills are a must, as you will be engaging with customers regularly. Previous pet experience is preferred, as it will enhance your ability to assist customers with their needs.
