About The Position

Job Summary: Supervise a team of customer service members to maintain the service and productivity levels of standards.

Requirements

  • Medical Terminology
  • Previous experience in customer service call center
  • Previous experience in leadership roles
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • College education and 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Customer Service staff
  • Hire necessary staff force, prepare annual reviews, coordinate vacation schedules, evaluate and discipline staff
  • Monitoring call hold time, production, and data entry
  • Assist staff members with questions regarding interpretation of plan design and language, client, participant and provider questions
  • Assist in random audits of staff calls
  • Assist Team Lead with complicated issues
  • Assist in the phone line queue as needed
  • Handle projects that relate to the team
  • Coordinate projects including setting up the phone queue systems and upcoming projects as needed
  • Prepare, coordinate and revise procedures as needed
  • Role model for employees
  • Recognize and reward employee performance/results
  • Other duties as assigned or appropriate
