The Lead Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising all functions of the retail store and donation center in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager. This includes overseeing other customer service supervisors and ensuring efficient utilization of staff on duty to build a strong and motivated store team. The role emphasizes customer service and production, promotes sales growth, and attends to store merchandising. The supervisor must maintain a pleasant environment in the store, assist customers courteously, and ensure proper handling of merchandise according to store standards. The position requires sufficient mathematical skills for cash register operations and daily paperwork, as well as adherence to cash and banking procedures. The supervisor will work cooperatively with store management and staff, help build a motivated team, and maintain store appearance and safety.
