About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our fast-paced engineering/manufacturing organization. Working under the direction of the Manager, Inside Sales, Warehouse & Logistics, this role is responsible for supporting both customers and sales teams by ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating critical sales operations activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering a high level of customer service in a dynamic environment. In this role, the Inside Sales Customer Service Specialist serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, handling inquiries related to products, pricing, and order status while ensuring timely resolution of issues. This position supports sales operations by preparing quotes, processing orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records within the ERP system. The role also coordinates closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, inventory, engineering, procurement, and production to ensure smooth order fulfillment and effective communication across departments. Additional responsibilities include supporting reporting and forecasting efforts, maintaining organized documentation, and contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • At least three years of inside sales or customer service experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Excellent multitasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
