About The Position

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the beating heart of our hospital! You’ll work to ensure a comfortable, seamless experience for clients and their pets. You'll manage the flow of veterinary appointments, maintain our welcoming environment, and ensure clear communication between all parties.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for customer service and animal care.
  • A positive, welcoming demeanor that puts clients and pets at ease.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and handle pets on leash or in carriers.
  • The ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and kneel as/when needed.
  • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Basic computer proficiency for managing records and communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, organized atmosphere by maintaining our public spaces and ensuring the lobby and exam rooms are client-ready.
  • Manage appointment flow with precision, from initial scheduling through follow-up care.
  • Handle client communications across multiple channels (phone, email, text, etc.) with professionalism and care.
  • Coordinate between departments and external partners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Process payments and handle administrative tasks expeditiously and with attention to detail.
  • Assist with pet handling when needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Serve as the essential link between clients, veterinary staff, and external partners.
