South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks five highly motivated and collaborative individuals to fill the part-time position of Customer Service Specialist 3 - CASAS Testing & Start Here. This position reports directly to the Program Support Supervisor in the Outreach, Recruitment & Assessment Office. The Customer Service Specialist proctors CASAS exams during active registration periods each quarter, working with the Transition Studies department and Assessment Center. They also assist year-round at the Start Here Counter, helping students understand the steps to enrollment at SPSCC and checking in students for services. This includes responding to inquiries, phone calls, web chats, requests for information, event preparation, tours, information sessions, etc. The position will also be responsible for supporting programmatic and recruitment activities. Extensive training and certification are provided for CASAS proctoring. No prior knowledge or experience in proctoring tests and exams is required.
