The position involves assisting current customers and performing various warehouse tasks as needed. Responsibilities include attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting additional products and services, and managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. The role requires anticipating customer needs, following up with previous customers for reorders or additional services, and possessing product knowledge to effectively answer customer inquiries. Additionally, the position involves assessing competitors by analyzing their information and trends to identify sales opportunities, developing leads and referrals by checking customer buying history, and explaining technical features of products. Closing sales and achieving sales targets are key responsibilities, along with creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. Administrative tasks and warehouse work are also part of the role, including assisting with product and service issues, purchasing, scheduling, facility maintenance, truck maintenance, and maintaining warehouse/office housekeeping. Participation in monthly and/or annual physical inventories, scheduling inbound/outbound deliveries, and maintaining showroom organization to maximize sales and inventory are also required. Proper documentation and order maintenance for specific large projects are essential.
