About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is seeking a determined full-time Customer Service / Sales Associate in Branford, CT to keep retail operations running smoothly. The company is a Connecticut-based lumber and building materials retailer serving Connecticut, South County, Rhode Island, and Westchester County, New York. It is a third-generation, family-run company with a rich history dating back to 1902. In this retail role, the associate is responsible for profitability and customer satisfaction in the stores. As a company ambassador, the associate interacts with and assists customers, promotes Ring's End products and services, handles instances of consumer dissatisfaction, schedules deliveries, follows up, guides clients on building material inquiries, answers phones and emails, and keeps inventory organized.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for profitability and customer satisfaction in our stores
  • Interact and assist our customers with a smile
  • Correspond with regular customer contacts and also potential customers, promoting the sale of Ring's End products and services
  • Handle instances of consumer dissatisfaction and specific customer complaints fairly and promptly
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Follow up on tasks
  • Guide and advise clients on their building material inquiries
  • Answer phones and emails
  • Keep inventory organized
  • Help in any other way possible
