About The Position

The Senior Store Leader at Estes Enterprises is responsible for overseeing store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees. This role involves opening the store, managing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain store standards while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of leadership experience in retail or related areas.
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have own transportation to the Minneapolis St. Paul airport.

Responsibilities

  • Open the store and set up the money bag for operations.
  • Assist the manager in overseeing store operations and customer service flow.
  • Help customers select items and suggest gifts based on their needs.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Inspect merchandise and ensure proper stock levels in the store.
  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts.
  • Schedule and assign shifts and job duties to employees.
  • Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences.
  • Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed and address customer issues or complaints.
