About The Position

Central Lincoln People's Utility District is seeking two Customer Service Representatives to join their team in Newport. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, focusing on identifying, investigating, and resolving customer issues while processing payments and managing accounts. The position requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced office environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Two years of business office experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
• Cash handling and balancing experience.
• Excellent customer service, data entry, and typing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve customer issues.
• Process payments and update customer accounts.
• Manage delinquent accounts and process service orders to establish or discontinue electrical service.
• Interact with customers via phone, in person, email, and written correspondence.
• Support customers in setting up and troubleshooting various programs.
• Provide consistent and sustained positive customer service experiences.
• Assist senior staff and train other Customer Service Representatives.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
