The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position at our Sarasota, FL retail banking branch is a full-time role dedicated to providing superior service to our bank customers. The CSR will be responsible for performing a variety of banking transactions, opening new accounts, and expanding customer relationships. This position is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring that all banking operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently. In this role, the CSR will maintain and balance a cash drawer, perform ATM transactions, and assist with end-of-night balancing. The representative will receive, post, and pay out funds, as well as balance and proof customer accounts. Opening new accounts for checking, savings, business accounts, and IRAs is a key responsibility, along with identifying customer needs and recommending specific products and services through the Customer Needs Assessment (CNA) process. The CSR will also expand customer relationships by making appropriate referrals for investments, mortgages, and commercial loans, and will assist with consumer loan applications and processing. The CSR will contribute to the financial center's sales and service goals by meeting or exceeding individual targets. Upholding customer satisfaction is paramount, and the CSR will support both external and internal customers by answering questions and requests in a timely manner. Maintaining customer confidence is essential, and the CSR will protect operations by adhering to the Privacy Policy and keeping all customer information confidential. Compliance with bank procedures and regulatory guidelines is mandatory, and the CSR will be expected to achieve successful Mystery Shop scores while minimizing bank monetary losses. Secondary functions of the role include making tele-consulting calls as necessary, performing clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to team efforts by performing other job-related duties as assigned. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
