About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative at thyssenkrupp OnlineMetals, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to both our supplier base and internal company end-users. This position is vital in ensuring that our customers receive timely and accurate information regarding their material and order status, which you will manage through various communication channels including phone and email. You will be responsible for coordinating issue resolution between customers and the appropriate internal staff members, such as those in contract administration, purchasing, finance, and plant operations. Your ability to meet internal sales goals related to orders and customer service will be essential, and you will monitor your own progress towards these goals regularly. In addition to customer interactions, you will be tasked with creating, updating, and maintaining various reports that detail issues, orders, and sales results. Completing order entries or preparing quotes as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and you will be expected to embody the TKMNA Employee Attributes and Competencies, which emphasize dependability, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The position operates on the 2nd shift, starting at a competitive rate of $20 per hour, and offers opportunities for overtime as needed.
