About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role involves answering calls, addressing customer inquiries, and acting as a liaison between customers and the operations team to ensure high-quality customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience, preferably in a customer service role.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is desired but not required.
  • Comfortable using computers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers in a timely and professional manner, either on the phone or in person.
  • Answer phone calls within 2 rings and relay messages to the appropriate recipient if necessary.
  • Provide accurate answers to customer inquiries to the best of your ability.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards all customers at all times.
  • Assist customers in filling out information sheets with personal and insurance details.
  • Enter customer information into the computer and notify the Estimator of waiting customers.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Estimators regarding any tows called in by customers.
  • Start and organize customer files, fill out tow sheets, and prepare documents for Estimators.
  • Document and collect payments when vehicles are ready for delivery to customers.
  • Organize the front office daily to ensure a presentable space for customers.
  • Order necessary office supplies for employee use.
  • Maintain a company calendar to ensure adequate Estimator availability for customer estimates.
  • Contact rental providers to ensure readiness of rental cars for customers as needed.
  • Stay calm and professional when dealing with customers in distress.
