Smith's Atlantic Filter location in West Palm Beach, FL. Working hours:  Monday through Friday 8am-5pm   Based in West Palm Beach, FL (USA), the team manufacture and distributes quality water treatment equipment for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial use. Founded in 1955, Atlantic Filter products are distributed through water treatment professionals, homebuilders and its WaterPlex Water Centers throughout Florida and the southeastern United States.   Atlantic Filter was acquired by A. O. Smith Corporation in June 2022.   Primary FunctionDaily duties will include invoicing, data entry, requesting and recording information provided by the customer for scheduling services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). Associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read and interpret sales correspondence and financial reports 
  • Good communication skills, phone etiquette and the ability to properly respond to common inquiries or other issues from customers
  • Word typing ability to accurately key 50 WPM Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and superiors, both verbally and written
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, including ability to plan, organize, and work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Acceptable credit history

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the trades or construction industry desired
  • Working knowledge of Sage desired
  • Associate Degree in Marketing or Related Field

Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices for services rendered.
  • Resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
  • Schedules appointments and coordinates meetings for staff using an online calendar system.
  • Working with contractor accounts on contract billing
  • Greets and refers clients and visitors
  • Answers main telephone system, makes referrals, takes messages, and directs incoming calls appropriately.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary
