About The Position

Anderson Mazda is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those that have always wanted to learn to be a Service Advisor as there is plenty of potential to learn with this role! We’re a family-owned business that began in Nebraska 40 years ago. We believe in doing business in a way that builds up the community around us, and we have centered our mission on valuing people. Anderson Auto Group consists of eight retail locations in Nebraska and Missouri.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
  • Call center sales experience is a plus
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional personal appearance
  • As part of our application process, all applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone traffic in a polite, professional and cheerful manner
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
  • Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
  • Perform follow-up sales calls on service quotes
  • Update and maintain the store scheduler with Service Manager
  • Asks for the sale and/or attempts to schedule customers for a service appointment
  • Assist the Store Managers and Service Advisors with various clerical duties as needed
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication
