The Customer Service Team steps in wherever high touch or high volume support is needed across CBS They handle critical customer interactions and transactions, ensuring customers receive timely, consistent, and helpful service no matter which part of CBS they’re engaging with Provides high touch support across CBS Handles high volume customer interactions Ensures customers receive timely, consistent help Summary The Customer Service Representative delivers positive, efficient support to policyholders and agency partners You’ll handle routine service tasks, assist with inquiries, and help keep operations running smoothly This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, values accuracy, and wants to build a foundation in the insurance industry

Requirements

  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills with a customer first mindset.
  • Accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple systems.
  • Strong organization, reliability, and follow through.
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain professionalism.
  • Openness to learning new processes, systems, and insurance concepts.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • No prior experience needed - training provided and enthusiasm welcomed

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide accurate information on policies, billing, claims, and account questions
  • Complete routine transactions and route complex issues to the appropriate team
  • Meet expectations for quality, timeliness, and productivity
  • Document customer interactions and update policyholder records
  • Create workflows from scanned documents and shared inboxes
  • Maintain organized digital files
  • Prepare, print, and type forms or documents
  • Assemble and process outgoing mailings
  • Process vendor invoices and support general administrative tasks
  • Work with teammates and cross functional partners to resolve customer needs
  • Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings
  • Build knowledge across billing, claims, and policy service
  • Assist with special assignments and projects as needed
