About The Position

The Customer Service Representative's main focus is ensuring exceptional customer experience. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, greeting and assisting them with service needs, maintaining a strong working knowledge of WFR's products and service, and creating engaging marketing content that supports brand awareness and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred. Background in the agriculture industry is preferred.
  • Ability to utilize computer software systems, Microsoft 365, Canva
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers across all departments
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling as needed
  • Able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must work scheduled days and hours assigned by manager.
  • Must work full time a minimum of 80 hours per pay period.
  • Extra hours will be expected as business needs arise.
  • Flexibility is required for extended hours as necessary, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a courteous, professional, and positive attitude toward both customers and coworkers
  • Serve as the initial point of contact by greeting customers, addressing their needs, answering phone calls, and resolving inquiries
  • Manage the scaling process for grain and agronomy products accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure consistent coverage at the front desk and scale in case of absence
  • Recommend appropriate products and service based on customer needs; maintain strong product knowledge and complete sales transactions within the ERP system
  • Retrieve and load inventory for customers, using forklift as needed
  • Unload inventory as it arrives at the warehouse with forklift
  • Take ownership of the front entry area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, professional, and visually appealing
  • Ensure the warehouse inventory is organized and labeled
  • Assist with special projects including but not limited to marketing, website design, inside sales, accounting tasks, etc.
