Part-time Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Mom's Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is in hyper-growth mode. The Part-time Customer Service Representative serves as the front line to our customers placing meal orders. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients while efficiently and accurately submitting their order. We are a mission driven company that invites you to be a part of our family with opportunities at our Ankeny, IA or Des Moines, IA office. The starting wage is $17.00/hour ($18.00/hour for bilingual representatives) with weekly pay. Standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 10:30am-2:30pm (20-29 hours/week). This position requires 3 weeks of full time onsite training, Monday-Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- 1 year of previous customer service experience
- Previous knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Clear oral communication skills
- Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
- Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of previous call center experience
- Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
- Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
- Input order information into the appropriate client order screen
- Document all conversations with client into client information database
- Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file
- Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients
- Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed
