About The Position

Customer Service Representative Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Job Summary: Customer Support Representatives act as the intermediary between our customers and our production team. Our office is connected to an 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility that runs 24/7. Most correspondence with our customers is completed through phone calls and e-mail. Interaction with our production team occurs through face-to-face conversation, phone, email, or two-way radio. Education: High school diploma or equivalent - Two years of college preferred

Requirements

  • Two years’ sales and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to follow instructions, attentive to detail and team player.
  • Must obey all personnel, products, food safety regulations, policy and procedures.
  • Must adhere to all quality processes, including documentation and verification as they apply to the performance of your tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the innate ability to cultivate professional relationships.
  • Must be able to articulate and communicate effectively with customers, office, and production personnel.
  • Work well under pressure and can meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, patience, innovative thinking skills and the ability to provide resolution with customer concerns.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure down to .0625.”
  • Above average computer literacy, math, and literacy skills.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office support for sales staff and house accounts.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls.
  • Telephone interaction with customers and vendors.
  • Input and prepare quotes, production work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Request various office and production items.
  • Participate in the monthly physical inventory.
  • Misc. paperwork and filing
  • Manage and prepare express delivery services.
  • Backup to shipping/receiving department when required.
  • Assist plant and office personnel as required and when applicable.
  • Maintain neat and orderly workplace.
  • Perform special assignments as requested.
  • Responsible for initiating corrective action, returning authorization, and requesting credit as necessary for customer complaints.
