About The Position

TOPPAN Packaging Americas specializes in designing and manufacturing sustainable, high-performance flexible and thermoformed packaging solutions for the food, beverage, medical and consumer goods industries. They offer products like transparent high barrier films, pouches, clamshells and trays, utilizing advanced technology to enhance product safety, visibility and environmental sustainability. TOPPAN Packaging Americas operates as part of the global TOPPAN group, with 22 manufacturing facilities across North America, Latin America and Europe. Under the leadership of the Commercial Manager, the Customer Service Representatives are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective co-ordination of artwork and/or print tooling projects on behalf of a designated group of customers, while adhering to procedures established by the team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Competent user of: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Outlook, Word, Excel, bespoke Trident systems
  • Is able to work in a flexible and dynamic work environment, working towards fast moving deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Print process knowledge (all three processes), understanding how trapping and separation affect the print result.
  • Understand brand rules and style guides.
  • Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to the safety and health of Trident and its employees
  • Active participation in safety activities
  • Successfully qualify on necessary safety training
  • Perform all daily/weekly inspections and housekeeping as directed and trained
  • Provide sales support, including the oversight of customer focused projects that drive performance improvements.
  • Receive, interpret and document customer instructions, developing internal specifications and effectively communicating these to the Graphics and Manufacturing departments.
  • Provide consistent feedback to customer on progress of all elements in a job.
  • Provide timely, accurate invoicing.
  • Achieve minimum management defined Quality standards
  • Identify and follow through on opportunities for growth
  • Lead customer meetings and presentations
  • Implementation of new business into Trident systems/workflows
  • Participate in process improvement and the quality program, and creation of RFC’s
  • Provide accurate KPI data for management review
  • Train Admin and mid-level CSR’s in Trident and customer specific procedures
  • Participate in Employee Performance Management System for career development.
