This position consist of answering inbound calls/ emails from existing Health Mart Atlas members which can result in providing an answer at that moment, additional research within the internal systems or triaging with other departments regarding PBM contracts or payments. It will also require outbound calls to current customers to follow up on open issues, returning voicemails left for the department and partaking in call campaigns. Representatives are expected to provide timely and accurate responses and call notes to inquiries and efficient resolution to issues. This position requires excellent communication, customer service, time management and follow-up skills. Compensation: Target salary for this role is between $20 and $21 per hour based on qualifications and location. Location: Candidates must live within 50 miles of our Columbus, OH or Las, Colinas, TX location. For Candidates in Texas: This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement based on recent updates to our in-office/work‑from‑home model. The selected candidate may be expected to work on‑site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in‑office days may be designated according to team needs and business priorities.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ years Customer Service call center environment experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy operation (pharmacy technician) and/or managed care experience/knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls and email requests from existing Health Mart Atlas pharmacies regarding Managed Care needs such as adjudication issues, payment research, contract solicitations and reimbursement issues.
  • Outbound calls to follow up on open issues that required additional research by the representative, another department or the PBM. This could also include returning voicemails or a call campaign.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure value proposition is clearly identified and communicated with members including contract updates, industry news and trends
  • Once tenured in role, serve as a dedicated representative to assigned chains or buying groups
