About The Position

Basin Disposal Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Pasco, Washington. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the company and our customers, ensuring a high standard of service delivery through responsive and accurate communication. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in computer systems, databases, and office software.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Build trust and relationships through professional, courteous communication.
  • Provide accurate and timely information using appropriate tools and resources.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documentation.
  • Respond to and resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Support drivers by relaying messages and work orders via two-way radio.
  • Collect and process customer payments and balance cash drawers as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and PCI (Payment Card Industry) regulations.
  • Enter and update customer information in databases.
  • Escalate priority issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Strive to meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics.
  • Deliver excellent service through multiple channels: phone, email, electronic systems, and in person.
  • Maintain, organize, and update records, work orders, route books, and related documentation.
  • File and store records per retention guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Follow established communication procedures and service protocols.
  • Assist with cashier responsibilities and account closures when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service in all interactions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive customer information.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with coworkers and customers.
