The Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by understanding Copart practices and offering effective solutions. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the release of vehicles from body shops and other locations, including residences, along with performing other necessary office support functions. CSRs are often the first point of contact for customers, making them the face of the company. This position involves understanding client needs, offering solutions and support, and handling calls professionally. Performance will be measured on call quality, including knowledge, professionalism, and follow-up time, with a focus on call resolution using company resources. The role may also expand to include Chat and Email Customer Support.

Requirements

  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred
  • High School diploma
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient with office equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving
  • Computer proficiency - MS Suite
  • Typing speed 45WPM
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers of Copart
  • Offer solutions that aid and facilitate a unique customer service experience through a thorough understanding of Copart practices
  • Obtain the release of vehicles that are located at body shops and/or other locations including residences
  • Perform other office support functions as needed
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support
  • Answer and place calls in a professional manner
  • Focus on call resolution and use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to meet customer needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
