About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support through phone, email, chat or in person. This role is responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The CSR plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention by delivering high-quality service and upholding the company's standards and values. This position is in the office, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6 - 12 months customer service in a Distribution center, Warehouse, Food Service and / or related area.
  • 6-12 months of basic Computer, Microsoft word programs .
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 1 - 2 years customer service in Distribution center, Warehouse, Food Service and / or related area within food industry

Responsibilities

  • Support our biggest customers with order processing and problem resolution
  • Review daily orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and process requests for mis-shipment and/or damaged products
  • Collaborate and communicate with company buyers regarding key supplier forecasts and orders.
  • Assist customers with special orders, execute pricing quotes
  • Main contact for customer inquiries and problem resolution
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft programs, with a specific focus in Microsoft Excel -must be able to create spreadsheets, perform lookups, create Marcos, create pivot tables, etc.
  • Basic everyday computer skills – creating files and folders, filing electric communications, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
