About The Position

Carolina Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Emergency Team in Matthews, NC! As the first point of contact for our clients, our CSRs play a vital role in creating a compassionate and professional experience for both pet owners and their beloved animals. You'll work closely with our medical staff to ensure seamless communication, comfort, and support-especially during stressful or emergency situations. This position involves a variety of administrative and client-facing responsibilities, helping keep our hospital running smoothly while maintaining the highest level of service and care. Note: Emergency CSR shifts primarily include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for providing an exceptional client experience
  • Strong emotional intelligence and professionalism under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine love for pets and their families
  • The ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel as needed, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, reception, or administrative work
