About The Position

We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Customer Service Representative for our Sterling Heights office. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced staffing and office environment. The person in this role will support the hiring process from start to finish, including applicant communication, pre-screening, onboarding, and helping candidates move through each step of the process.

Requirements

  • Previous recruiting, staffing, office, or customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Comfortable interviewing and speaking with candidates in person and over the phone
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Professional attitude and strong follow-up skills
  • Dependable attendance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with onboarding, orientations, or applicant screening
  • Experience scheduling or coordinating background checks and drug tests
  • Ability to build rapport with candidates and provide a positive hiring experience

Responsibilities

  • Interview and pre-screen candidates for open positions
  • Assist with onboarding new hires
  • Conduct orientations and review workplace expectations with employees
  • Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug tests
  • Communicate with applicants regarding job opportunities, next steps, and start details
  • Maintain accurate candidate and employee records
  • Provide customer service support to applicants, employees, and clients
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Help ensure all required paperwork and pre-employment steps are completed
  • Support office operations and recruiting efforts as needed
