Customer Service Representative - FPV Drones

About The Position

Description Job description: The drone industry is taking off—and we’re looking for someone who can help customers navigate the technology behind it. Join our team as an Inside Sales Representative and help drive growth in a rapidly evolving market. The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for handling customer inquiries such as product returns, billing/payment disputes, technical support, and general product inquiries. CSR may also introduce cross-selling/ up-selling activities and support outbound marketing campaigns. Support would be handled via email, live chat, telephone, or social media. Key Responsibilities Manage customer requests and orders via various tools, such as Amazon.com Support efforts to ensure products are represented correctly at Amazon.com and GetFPV.com and that inventories are properly managed. Become a friendly, trusted order management expert. This includes a detailed understanding of company products’ features and functionality, and a basic understanding of the drone industry. Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, and precise manner. Notify customers of any change in order status or issues related to their order. Suggest other products to add to order. Assist customers as needed when arriving at office to pick up orders. Assist the fulfillment team as needed with inventory issues when filling orders. Other duties when assigned. Education and Experience 3+ years of progressive customer care experience in a buy-resale business model Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combo of education and experience. Interest in or knowledge of radio control devices, drones, aeronautics, or mechanical devices preferred. Technology Skills Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to master new systems and technologies quickly. ERP, CRM, and Help Desk Support system experience very helpful. MS Office Suite Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while performing customer service duties, including phone, email, and computer-based work. Ability to frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, headset, and telephone for prolonged periods. Visual acuity sufficient to view computer screens, read electronic documents, and enter data accurately. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach to access files, office equipment, or supplies. Manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners. Ability to work in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled indoor temperatures. Willingness and ability to work occasional overtime as needed to meet business or customer support demands. Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive customer care experience in a buy-resale business model
