Our capabilities at DJS are constantly expanding and currently include CNC machining, full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding), painting, integrated assemblies and more. Our facility includes the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Customer Service Representative assists the Operations and Sales Departments with administrative support through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordination with customers' other departments.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • One to three years related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Computer skills - MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel as well as company's ERP software
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work independently

  • Certificate from college or technical school.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service
  • Support the sales team in a variety of tasks as required
  • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
  • Issues production shop orders for the production of inventory to fulfill the customer's orders
  • Informs customer of shipping date and any possible delays
  • Notifies appropriate department of order and shipping date
  • Verifies customer information is correct and up-to-date
  • Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments
  • Assists with coordinating logistics for outside processing and purchasing
  • Other duties as assigned
