About The Position

Provide a variety of customer related services through telephone and fax contact including inquiries, orders, order entry, pricing, scheduling, delivery and disposition of customer complaints and questions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed while performing daily duties
  • Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and make responsible decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Due to the business necessity of communication, safety and production, candidates must be able to speak, read and write English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Argon products preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regarding pricing, inventory, scheduling, shipment and expediting information and process orders in computer system
  • Interact with Argon warehouses regarding shipping and expediting of orders
  • Provide technical support for customers as needed
  • Resolve customer questions, complaints and requests
  • Adjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation
  • Interact with other departments on a variety of issues.
  • Provide assistance to Sales Representatives.
  • Participate in training newly hired Customer Service Representatives
  • Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
