ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to calls and e-mails from advisors and clients regarding life insurance, annuities, LTC, and disability insurance. Assist, review, submit and follow up on: Title Changes: Ownership, POA, Beneficiary changes & Third party authorization Agent of record changes, licensing, product, carrier requirements Claims on life, annuity, LTC & LTC Perform policy reviews Assist with ACATs, withdrawals & surrenders Run and request in force illustrations EFT/modal changes Reinstatements Conversions Assist in completing forms Respond to customer requests in timely manner, provide information and resolve problems Perform other tasks as assigned by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE College degree or equivalent workforce experience Previous one year life and/or annuity insurance experience is preferred Knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and industry is preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work to balance multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization Ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance QUALIFICATIONS Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Ability and Willingness to learn systems and industry CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Existing insurance license or willingness to obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment
