Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6–12 months of customer service experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated professional writing ability
  • Strong and accurate typing skills with efficient computer use
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP or contact management systems
  • Ability to calculate numerical figures such as discounts, percentages, and basic measurements
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
  • Customer-focused, dependable, and adaptable mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on role

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and quotes accurately and efficiently using internal systems
  • Respond to inquiries regarding new and existing orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Remain available for incoming calls and ensure prompt acknowledgment and resolution of customer requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts, including contact and tooling information
  • Document all customer interactions to ensure reliable records for both customers and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product lines, features, and applications
  • Continuously expand knowledge of new products and updates to existing offerings
  • Use product and system knowledge to troubleshoot customer concerns and provide effective solutions
  • Provide accurate and timely pricing across all product families
  • Learn and follow departmental procedures, systems, and process improvements
  • Enter and manage data accurately within order entry and ERP systems
  • Follow Customer Service Department Guidelines and internal resources for policies and procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions—via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain a positive attitude while showing respect to customers and colleagues
  • Contribute to a culture of respect, support, and continuous improvement
  • Meet and maintain performance expectations established by management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
