The incumbent is responsible for representing external customers within Double E. The position handles customer calls for prices, parts, and service. The position also partners with sales team members, providing phone coverage in the salesperson’s absence, handling parts orders, preparing quotations and pacing the sales process.

  • Provide external domestic and foreign customers with parts support and order status.
  • Support the sales team in the selling process (while in and out of the office).
  • Connecting the customer with the appropriate service or engineering support for troubleshooting or technical questions.
  • Accurate and timely order entry in our current ERP system.
  • Accurate and timely issuance of customer quotes/sales proposals.
  • Process customer returns via our Return Materials Authorization system.
  • Update and maintain our current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain customer order and quote files.
  • Communicate external customers’ requirements and expectations to internal specialists.
  • Work with other team members to develop the information necessary to submit quotations.
  • Flexibility with work schedule when required to provide coverage when your counterparts are out of the office and/or when work volume dictates additional support.
  • Provide backup incoming phone support as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Continue to learn and develop personally.
  • Support our company business philosophy, plans and goals.
  • Process and procedure improvement within your department as well as offer suggestions for outside departments.
  • Such other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
  • Vantage Customer, Inventory, and RMA modules.
  • Writing correspondence.

  • Phone communication and etiquette.
  • File maintenance.
  • Tactful handling of customer concerns.
  • Ability to work within a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Bachelor's degree recommended.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
