About The Position

Join us in our new facility as a Customer Service Representative at MMC Fencing & Railing, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional service in the fast-paced world of e-commerce and local sales of building products. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and satisfaction. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries via telephone, mail, and email, and processing orders for our aluminum handrail products. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve customer complaints and requests for refunds, exchanges, and adjustments, always with management approval. In this position, you will provide customers with catalogs and detailed information regarding our products, pricing, and shipping times. You will also take on the role of a Sales Representative, creating orders and suggesting additional items that may enhance the customer's purchase. Your duties will include answering incoming phone calls, greeting customers in our showroom, entering customer orders, and providing technical assistance when necessary. You will be expected to research customer service complaints and respond to customer inquiries, consulting with management to resolve issues within a 24-hour timeframe. Additionally, you will make outbound calls to customers and develop a strong product knowledge to effectively recommend and specify products. Staying current with featured products and promotions will be essential, as will providing quotes based on submitted drawings or plans.
