About the position

Kivel & Howard LLP is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team in Portland, OR. This full-time position supports the LegalShield division, focusing on providing exceptional service to members by managing inbound and outbound calls. The ideal candidate will be dependable, service-oriented, and computer-fluent, ensuring accurate information is relayed to attorneys and members alike.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls professionally.
  • Adapt to specific software programs and methodologies during onboarding and training.
  • Manage call situations effectively, both during and after member contact.
  • Handle confidential information with care and security.
  • Create accurate supporting documentation from calls.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a professional manner.
  • Calm and professional demeanor with a positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior call center experience is a plus.
  • Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
