About The Position

AlphaGraphics Carrollton is looking for a Front Counter Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face and voice of our business. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers by ensuring their requirements and needs are met. We are a small, passionate, and fast-paced team that is fully invested in our company's success, and we value contributions from each team member.

Requirements

  • Friendly, people-oriented personality with a strong desire to help customers succeed.
  • Prior experience in the printing, design, or shipping industry a plus (not required).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Proficiency in basic math and computer skills; comfortable learning POS software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Experience in customer needs assessment, service quality, and satisfaction evaluation.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers and team members.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to evaluate options and propose solutions.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Accurately route calls through the store phone system.
  • Understand and uphold the AlphaGraphics Customer Bill of Rights.
  • Identify customer printing, design, and shipping needs; recommend value-added solutions.
  • Provide accurate estimates using established pricing and turnaround guidelines.
  • Enter estimates and orders into the POS system with attention to accuracy.
  • Follow up on estimates, proactively ask for orders, and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions; prepare deposits as required.
  • Verify order details, accuracy, and pricing before delivery.
  • Notify customers upon project completion and coordinate pickup/delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues directly or escalate to management when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and prepared front counter area.
  • Assist in production (bindery and other departments) as workflow demands.
  • Log and track new customer contacts for follow-up.
  • Take clear and complete messages for team members.
  • Refer customers to inside sales reps when appropriate.
  • Represent AlphaGraphics with professionalism, a problem-solving mindset, and a positive attitude.
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly to internal teams.
  • Educate customers and the community about our services and capabilities.
