About The Position

The position involves assisting and backing up the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) team at Steel Dynamics. The role requires collaboration with the Inside Sales team on various tasks including orders, reports, and analysis. The individual will provide backup support for ISRs when they are unavailable and will monitor and expedite production and shipments to ensure customer satisfaction. The goal is to exceed customer expectations through timely responses and effective communication, while also working internally with all departments to enhance customer service. Additionally, the role includes meeting or exceeding monthly shipping goals and department key measurements.

Requirements

  • A minimum two-year Associates degree
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Customer Service passion and attitude
  • Willing to go the ‘extra mile' for service and problem resolution
  • Able to work with people from all organizational levels and backgrounds
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC applications

Nice To Haves

  • An accredited four-year Bachelor's degree, with a Business concentration
  • Three or more years of Customer Service or Sales experience

Responsibilities
