About The Position

The Customer Service Representative at Prime Healthcare is responsible for managing the daily intake of member and provider phone calls related to referrals for the employee and dependent medical benefits plan. Requirements

  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Ability to handle a high call volume professionally and courteously.
  • Working knowledge of self-funded medical plans and/or Managed Care plans.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Windows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily intake of member and provider phone calls regarding referrals for medical benefits plans.
  • Search the PAS tool system and fax/mail information to members and providers.
