About The Position

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a part-time PRN Customer Service Representative to join our team in Belleville, MO. The representative will also promote a recovery model of treatment that emphasizes trauma-informed care and wellness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service background.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Knowledge of standard office procedures and use of office equipment.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic keyboarding skills.
• Experience using MS products.
• Ability to commute among locations to perform assigned duties.
• Valid driver's license and private auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors courteously to create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Gather demographic, financial, and insurance information in person or by telephone.
• Discuss payment plans, waivers, and fee agreements with patients.
• Ensure complete documentation in patients' electronic medical records.
• Verify current payer eligibility.
• Schedule appointments.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
