About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health serves as the first point of contact for individuals entering the facility. This role is essential in providing information about the various programs and services offered, ensuring a welcoming environment, and maintaining efficient operations through effective communication and administrative support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years' experience in customer service

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience working in a medical or behavioral health office
• Bi-Lingual abilities

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct individuals as they enter the facility.
• Promptly answer, screen, and process telephone inquiries while adhering to confidentiality policies.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
• Return all telephone messages in a timely manner.
• Provide information on HRH programs.
• Collect and enter information of individuals served into the EHR system accurately.
• Refer individuals to the clinical team for triage when applicable.
• Respond to irate individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain up-to-date data concerning provider schedules and accepted insurance plans.
• Scan paper documents in a timely manner.
• Collect all monies due to HRH and post to the Cash Sheet accurately.
• Check in/out all individuals served in a timely manner.
• Complete the financial process accurately and in a timely manner.
• Uphold positive interpersonal relations among all team members.
• Use initiative and good judgment in all tasks.
