About The Position

As an Customer Service Representative / Junior Service Advisor with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment in their vehicle, and because of these reasons, you play a large role in building relationships with our customers. You will drive our branded vehicle and are expected to adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service by greeting our guests, assisting with getting in and out of the shuttle, and ensuring the shuttle is clean and comfortable. This position will be respobsible for creating a welcoming and positive guest experience, both in person and over the phone, by consistently offering clear communication and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

  • Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guest
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Meet required insurance driving record parameters
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
  • Check guests in and out
  • Handle warranty-related service needs, helping customers understand their coverage while ensuring claims are submitted correctly and on time.
  • Perform quality control checks before returning vehicles to customers.
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Providing a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
  • Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
  • Providing a safe, nice difference® service for our valued guests in our branded company shuttle vehicle
  • Assist with basic office upkeep, such as tidying shared spaces and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Keeps a timely shuttle route
  • Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
  • Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
  • Notifies the service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
  • Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
