About The Position

The Customer Service Representative III provides advanced administrative and customer support services for the Personal Property Office at Fort Sill. This position is responsible for screening customers, reviewing documentation, coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining office records, supporting counselors, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced military logistics environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or clerical work required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting a team environment.

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
  • Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Eligible incumbent in good standing is highly desirable.
  • Experience in military logistics or personal property operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of military forms, shipment documentation, or transportation processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a Personal Property Office or similar transportation/logistics environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with military documentation, counseling workflows, or transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Screen customers to ensure they have the required documentation for establishing personal property shipments.
  • Read, interpret, and review military and civilian orders to prepare shipments for counselor processing.
  • Prepare, compose, and forward correspondence for Transportation Department personnel.
  • Submit requests for departmental form updates, changes, and publications.
  • Maintain accurate and current department forms, including sign‑in sheets, information sheets, date‑change forms, and other required documents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, screen messages, and direct information to appropriate staff.
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings, including arranging virtual appointments and handling schedule changes.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, documents, and databases to ensure easy retrieval and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Assist staff with general administrative support, including document preparation and information management.
  • Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and copiers.
  • Serve as first point of contact for visitors and customers, always ensuring professional customer service.
  • Support additional duties as assigned by the Personal Property Supervisor.
  • Perform end‑of‑day closure tasks, including securing the Activity Security Checklist and verifying all office doors are locked.
  • Other duties as assigned.
