About The Position

The Customer Service Representative will be handling customer inquiries about our products. These inquiries come from a variety of lead sources and are the result of both inbound and outbound efforts. The Customer Service Representative performs a basic level of lead qualification typically following a scripted presentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant inside sales experience preferred
  • College education preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Comfortable meeting production goals in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls while delivering a high level of professionalism and customer service to our clients
  • Required to perform a minimum number of transfers per day to available agents
  • Contacts prospective clients to generate interest in our mortgage products
  • Communicates effectively over the phone with the ability to escalate customer complaints and concerns to appropriate departments
  • Multi-task effectively by speaking and entering client data into the AmeriHome Mortgage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
