The Customer Service Representative II at John Crane is responsible for assisting and resolving customer needs, both internal and external. This role involves problem-solving, generating and analyzing reports, and improving processes to enhance customer satisfaction. The representative will also manage special projects and liaise with various departments to ensure timely delivery and quality service.

  • Assist and resolve internal and external customer needs.
  • Problem solve and work independently to generate and analyze various metric reports.
  • Aim to improve processes and recommend department improvements.
  • Report on customer satisfaction and delivery performance by site.
  • Summarize customer survey ratings and review order status for scheduling.
  • Publish performance reports to various accounts as required.
  • Review open order reports to rectify concerns prior to expediting processes.
  • Analyze complex processes and create clear reports.
  • Generate complex quotes for intercompany and external customers.
  • Liaise with Quality Department on RMA and AQR's.
  • Generate reports to improve customer backlogs.
  • Deescalate and mitigate customer obstructions to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Manage special projects as assigned by management.
  • Associates Degree in business or equivalent work experience with a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum four years related experience; experience in an ERP System is required.
  • Strong verbal, written, problem solving, and organizational skills required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is required.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently using sound judgment.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment and pumps is a plus.
  • Experience in planning, materials, and scheduling as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others.
  • Bilingual English - Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience working in a diverse environment is preferred.
