The Customer Service Representative II (CSR II) position is focused on acquiring, retaining, and expanding customer relationships at HomeStreet Bank. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their banking needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. The CSR II is responsible for various teller services, account management, and actively participating in sales activities to enhance customer satisfaction and meet performance goals.

  • Effectively interview and profile new and existing customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Partner with other business lines within the Bank to identify sales opportunities and enhance customer experience.
  • Open and close customer accounts including checking, savings, money markets, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and referral goals.
  • Participate in sales programs to generate new customers.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Actively listen to customers and resolve difficult situations with creativity and diplomacy.
  • Support branch lobby management and provide exceptional customer service using STAR qualities.
  • Participate in community events to enhance the bank's presence.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Ability to effectively interview and profile customers.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Sales experience or ability to meet sales goals.
  • Proficiency in handling teller services such as deposits and withdrawals.
  • Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
