About The Position

Description Location: Bloomington West Urgent Care Training Schedule: Week 1: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Regular Schedule: 36 hours per week, consisting of 10–12‑hour shifts. Monday–Friday: 7:45 a.m.–8:15 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 7:45 a.m.–6:15 p.m. Holiday availability required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Working knowledge of computers.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently within three months.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Register patients and verify demographic information.
  • Provide support and assistance to patients in the waiting area.
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email.
  • Determine appropriate resolution methods in alignment with patient needs and organizational guidelines.
  • Coordinate escalated issues with other departments as needed.
  • Collect patient personal and billing information for database entry and scheduling.
