About The Position
The position involves interacting with customers to respond to inquiries and complaints, issuing licenses, identification cards, and motor vehicle registrations. The role requires communication with internal and external contacts through various means such as telephone, mail, e-mail, fax, or in-person. The employee will use computer terminals, vision instruments, automatic testing devices, and other equipment to administer vision tests in accordance with agency policy. Responsibilities also include operating computer equipment to manage driver, vehicle, and business information, ensuring confidentiality and security of information, and reviewing reports for compliance with state and federal guidelines. The position requires collecting fees, reconciling receipts, scheduling road examinations, and maintaining filing systems for the Registry of Motor Vehicles. The employee will assist customers with problem resolution and provide information regarding guidelines, requirements, and procedures.
