Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Greet patrons and ensure their safety within the facility.
  • Answer and transfer a high volume of telephone calls.
  • Provide courteous service for program registrations, facility bookings, and park shelter reservations.
  • Conduct tours of the facility and provide information about recreational offerings.
  • Assist in training and scheduling part-time/seasonal employees.
  • Support part-time/seasonal staff and resolve issues that arise.
  • Communicate staff performance to the direct supervisor.
  • Participate in regular operations staff meetings.
  • Learn and use recreation management software for various operations.
  • Ensure marketing materials and social media are updated with accurate information.
  • Enforce risk management and emergency response protocols.
  • Process and promote membership sales at recreation facilities.
  • Assist in member appreciation events and promotions.
  • Aid patrons in registrations for activities and events.
  • Maintain and update family and organization accounts.
  • Conduct inventory and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Reserve park shelters and collect rental fees.
  • Monitor supply ordering for front desks and pro shop supplies.
  • Assist with monitoring surveys for member satisfaction levels.
  • Facilitate facility reservations and inquiries.
