About The Position

Florida Equine Veterinary Associates is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative / Front Desk to join their team! The Customer Service Representative contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. This role performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the equine veterinary associates.

Requirements

  • Experience within the equine field.
  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
  • Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance.
  • Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Processes paperwork for horses, correctly and accurately.
  • Attach labs and records accurately in practice software management system.
  • Answers phones and routes messages to the right doctor and right individuals.
  • Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
  • Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
  • Processes payments, sends monthly statements and thoroughbred sales paperwork.
  • Provides excellent customer service in-person, and over the phone.
