Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience
• At least 2 years of dog handling experience
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work weekends and evenings
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Willingness to stand on your feet for extended periods
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time
• Effective both individually and as a team member
• Attention to detail
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead group and private training sessions with humans and their dogs
• Actively listen to dog owners for opportunities to deliver exceptional customer service while effectively promoting and selling dog training products and services
• Regularly update and implement new training lesson plans for trainers
• Personally engage with every client that enters the store and strive to memorize names of all humans and dogs
• Answer incoming phone calls cheerfully and professionally
• Respond to emails and inquiries quickly and professionally
• Help clients organize and share required vaccination records
• Maintain cleanliness of the gym, retail areas, and restrooms
• Help clients schedule classes and lessons
• Prepare and set up gym for classes and assist smooth class transitions
• Stock inventory and prepare new product shipments
• Bake and decorate doggy donuts
