As a Silvi Materials Scale Operator/Dispatcher, you will manage high call volumes while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor with each customer. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail, the ability to enter orders accurately, and the responsibility to provide drivers with precise location information.   • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume setting with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and account details to customers.
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
  • Provide accurate and timely location information to drivers to ensure smooth deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely manner while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Stay calm under pressure and manage stress effectively during peak call times.
  • Be dependable and punctual, ensuring consistent attendance and availability during scheduled hours.
  • Ability to work at 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. but has flexibility for outside and overtime hours as needed.
  • Ability to work at least 2 Saturdays per month.
  • High School education or equivalent, although a college education is preferred.
  • Excellent and clear communication skills (bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus).
  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience in data entry or order processing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and professionally.
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Dependable, with a strong commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
